Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Royalty Coordinator to join our Global Royalty Team in Burbank, California. In this role, you will assist with royalty processing across our international network, ensuring the accurate calculation, collection, and distribution of royalties for our diverse roster of artists, songwriters, and catalog partners.
Responsibilities
- Maintain relationships with U.S. and international clients, addressing royalty related inquiries.
- Perform accurate data entry for manual and electronic royalty statements.
- Track and obtain missing statements to ensure timely processing.
- Assign royalty accounts and make necessary adjustments.
- Deliver client statements semi-annually and quarterly, meeting all deadlines.
- Conduct research to ensure accurate royalty postings.
- Analyze large data sets and create meaningful reports.
- Maintain and archive department files.
- Handle various ad-hoc projects and reports as needed.
- Meet all deadlines and complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in royalties, accounting, or finance.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PivotTables).
- Familiarity with royalty contracts, calculations, and software is a plus.
